About Us
The owner of Islamic Headstone was born and raised all his formative years in the Islamic cultural community of Istanbul, Turkey. As an adult, he traveled the world as an Executive Chef in many countries. Later in life working in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait, he would become closer to his Faith. He eventually settling here in the United States, becoming a Citizen in 1989.
In 2019, he was diagnosed with late-stage Prostate and Bone Cancer. This is when he began Volunteering, helping, and working with families at the New Jersey Islamic Cemetery 7 days a week as families came to bury their family members. He would pray with them at the grave site and for their loved ones. He prays every day for all who are resting there and their families.
At the end of services, he would get questions - How to give the final resting places Beauty and Dignity that was desired by the families. There is a great need from ever-growing Islamic communities from Muslim, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Uzbek, African Islam, and Middle East Arabic communities in NJ and the tri-state area. He felt an Overwhelming Duty to help these families in the final steps of this event in their lives.
He works tirelessly for every Family that crosses the cemetery threshold to rest their loved one. He has built his reputation in this service on Honesty, Reliability and Experience of Services with Headstone Artwork. Working directly with the Manufactures of head stones for each Family to represent their Loved Ones with honor and respect to Islam in their final resting place.
This is my most Sacred Trust and Duty.
